James Burch is a co-founder of It Ain't Over Ministries, a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals transitioning from jails and prisons back into society. Born at Ft. Benning, GA (now renamed Ft. Moore), James spent his early years in Columbus, GA, after his father retired from the Army. He faced significant personal challenges, struggling with alcoholism and sexual addictions, which led to multiple periods of incarceration. However, it was during his time in prison that James experienced a profound transformation, discovering his faith in Jesus Christ in 1995 through a Bill Glass Ministries event at Central State Prison.
James's journey in faith deepened during his incarceration, where he actively participated in various Christian programs. He was involved in Kairos events, led Bible studies, and held leadership roles in prayer groups across different prisons. After his release, James became an integral part of local churches in Columbus, GA, participating in activities such as Sunday school teaching and door greeting. He also contributed to the Celebrate Recovery program from 2012 to 2020, co-leading step studies to help others overcome personal struggles. James attended Columbus Vocational College, graduating in 2013, further reaffirming his commitment to personal growth and ministry.
James Burch's ministry is closely aligned with David Fore's Ministry vision of It Ain't Over Ministries, with whom he helped to found the Remnant Bible Academy and collaborated on the Remnant Bible Study Course. This comprehensive study aims to restore the foundational truths of the Christian faith, as understood by the early Church. James's work with It Ain't Over Ministries and their Remnant Bible Academy reflects his passion for helping those with a history of criminal involvement, using his own experiences to inspire and support others in their paths toward redemption. Through his involvement in various podcasts and Ministry activities, James continues to spread a message of hope and salvation, emphasizing the transformative power of faith in overcoming personal challenges.
