Joshua 16-18 Reflection:
The people of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim received their inheritance. All but the tribe of Levi received land promised to them. Everyone mentioned was in possession of territory which each was blessed in some way. Even the daughters of Manasseh received a portion not just the sons and the tribe was granted ten portions. There are cities they could not conquer due to the Canaanites not being driven out as they were instructed to do so all they could do was force them into servitude. The Lord commanded them to drive out ALL of them but they hesitated. Did the tribe of Benjamin not hesitate? Is that why they possessed 26 cities? The other tribes questioned Joshua but he continued to tell them the Lord said its yours if you drive out those He commanded you to.
