Joshua 14-15 Reflection:
An old man named Caleb has inherited a lot of land and even at 85 years old he is ready to fight for the Lord and conquer more territories. I admire his determination and passion. Age doesn't hinder him. His daughter has the same zeal and she boldly asks to own some of the land, she is given Negeb and then she asks for the springs, both the upper and lower springs. It is empowering to see that some women were able to have possession of land. I imagine she was a successful business woman and had a warriors heart. He is a loving father that respects her. I haven't seen this very often for women during this period of time and inheritance.
