Joshua 11-13 Reflection:
It amazes me that all these kings bear witness to the might of the Lord empowering all of Israel yet they continue to come against Joshua and the Israelites, all except the Hivites because in earlier readings we see their deception ended in an alliance with Israel. You would think they would stop by now seeing all this but this was prophecy playing out as every king was slain and the kingdoms conquered. All of this land was promised to Israel. Moses defeated some and Joshua defeated some but there was still much land to be inherited as their right. To each tribe land was given except for the Levites, for their inheritance was the Lord not land.
