My nephew Jason Meabrod, who is a Naval chaplain, is being deployed May 5th to a dangerous nation in East Africa named Djibouti. It is just across the channel from Yemen. He will be there 9 months. Djibouti is war-torn and mostly Muslim, from what I understand. Pray for his protection. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Very soon, as soon as the next day or two, rainfall of 10 to 15 inches is expected in parts of Kentucky and Indiana. My maternal grandmother Dot and my Uncle Gene live in that region. Please pray for them, and for everyone else to be affected by this soon-to-be outbreak of severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flooding.

Asking for prayer for healing of abdominal issues. Because I am 100% reliant on Jesus' direct help and healing, I'm appealing to those who have genuine faith that he still heals directly today, as well as through health professionals. This can be a confusing issue, because I also know, while he will always heal, it's not always done this side of heaven. I will say that it "seems" like I've been under the Enemy's attacks on my body for the last three years, which just "happened" to be at a time when I felt especially healed from emotional trauma experienced two years prior to that. I know some things are just inevitable with age, but there was one issue I'd had for two years that was getting worse. God didn't fully take it away, but towards the end of that time period, he gave significant, consistent, relief and lessening of symptoms, which would have made it easier again for me to connect with other Christians more regularly and be more involved in ways to serve the Lord. Right when that happened, I suddenly began having various abdominal issues that could be debilitating. So the timing of these things does make me wonder if it's related to spiritual attacks in an effort to hinder how much I can encourage and be encouraged by other believers or be used in other ways for the Lord. Regardless of all of this, I know there are still ways God uses me, and I am grateful for that. But I would love to be able to do more and also be able to testify that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever, including his power to heal.

I received a prayer request from one of my friends about her friend Maribeth just diagnosed with cancer. So much cancer diagnosis lately. I come against all diagnosis of cancer and command healing in Jesus name not only for the cancer but comfort and peace in the hearts and minds of those being affected. I also pray that those requesting prayer also unashamedly have the courage to pray over their friends and themselves as well in Your mighty Name. Thank you Lord, I trust You are already at work healing Karen, her friends and relatives, Maribeth, my dad's cousin, etc from this disease. But the same goes to any and all disease. All sickness has to bow at the feet of Jesus.

Prayers for guidance and provision. We just received notice to vacate our home of 4 years (funny Adriean was let go after 4 years too from work) because the homeowner wants to renovate and sell the home. We only have 60 days and I know God has something better for us. This home is beginning to fall apart and it wasn't until I started calling attention to the disrepair that the owner decided this. It's not fair but we are trusting in God's plan. We need answers Lord in how to navigate this challenge. You didn't bring us this far to stop now.
